About Us

EFISD is a public school district based in the community of Elysian Fields, Texas. In addition to the community of Elysian Fields, the district also serves the community of DeBerry as well as rural areas in southeastern Harrison County and northeastern Panola County.

EFISD received an "A" grade from the Texas Education Agency as of the 2021-2022 school year, scoring 92 out of a possible 100 overall school rating. Dream Big At EFES!

STAAR Carnival Pop

4th Grade paused prep for this week's STAAR test by enjoying a fun Carnival Pop Party! We are ready to rock the STAAR!

Third Graders in Mrs. Seibel's class.

Third graders in Mrs Seibel's class were divided into two groups in P.E. for “Cooperation Day.” With only the props and equipment given them, they were given 12 minutes to “invent” a new game while working together with no further instructions from Coach Hammontree. The students were then required to demonstrate and explain the rules of their new game, and then play it the rest of the P.E. period.

As a result, we now have two new games called "Hoop Missle" and "One Ball." We are proud of these students for their cooperation and creativity in P.E.!
